I've also got an Lenovo M58 desktop PC which again works fine via VGA, but the monitor will not detect anything when I connect it via the on-board DisplayPort.Īny ideas? I've searched high and low on forums and user guides but so far I'm stumped. I've been through all the Windows 10 display settings I can think of, tried Windows+P, tried Fn+F7, checked all the settings in the Intel display software and checked for mention of DisaplyPort in BIOS. The monitor is getting something though, as the message pops up immediately when I remove and re-insert either cable. When I connect using the DisaplyPort > DisplayPort or DisplayPort > Mini DisplayPort cable the monitors says there's no signal detected. I've never used the DisplayPort output before so unsure if it works, or ever worked. I've just bought a Dell monitor which has HDMI, DisplayPort and Mini DisplayPort inputs, and I can't get the DisplayPort output to work from the T410. I've got a T410, Core i5 4GB RAM 128GB SSD, running Windows 10 Pro 64 which I've successfully connected to an external monitor via the VGA output a million times. First-time poster here, hope you can help.
